Hello! Just wondering if this type of bottle is good to carry some spare fuel and oil in for road trips (2 separate bottles obv) and any ideas on safe and easy ways to fix them to a back rack?

I've been using MSR bottles since I was young enough to backpack and canoe camp. Extremely rugged. I still have a hard to find pour spout. If you can't get one try some disposable paper funnels. Filling a Vespa straight from the bottle is a mess.

Reserve in a can
The msr bottle requires you supply your own gas, costs $25 Tru-fuel has shelf stable fuel in a metal can, for $6 for a liter, available home depot & the like I mount inside the top box on both my scooters Here you can see the shorty nutdriver is in a pocket on the side, to undo the hose clamps

I open myself to the usual comments expressing concern over carrying fuel, but here is my 1-gallon Rotopax container, mounted under the rear rack. It's very secure. I used 1/8" aluminum plates and 3/4" square bar, from the salvage yard, to manufacture the bracket for the mount.
Loaded for camping
Side view of bracket (when not carrying fuel, I remove the big "wing nut-locking mech)

I attached mine to the underside of my rack using large hose clamps. It's pretty innocuous there, easily accessed with a screwdriver/nutdriver, and if it were to develop a leak it wouldn't be all over the bike.
It survived a pretty serious crash during Cannonball last year as well without a scratch. It's pretty well protected there.
Riding the BRP and the Dragon, my MSR bottle stayed put for several years and 25K+ miles with no issues.
