Modern Vespa

Greetings from sunny Switzerland to this great community.

Just want to quickly introduce myself. I'm a middle-aged Swiss Vespa driver called Andi living in the city of Zurich.

I'm riding my two GT's mainly for daily commuting and a refurbished and gold painted GTS for pure pleasure. On the shelf there are some PX's waiting for restauration (aiming to get two of these done when my twin girls turn 18 in a couple of years).

This forum was often a huge help to me and the discussion culture is positively unseen. Looking forward to be part of this community.

You're certainly knee-deep in Wasps there–lovely job you did with the GTS, too. Very keen to hear more from you, including the scoot scene in Zurich and beyond. (I'm still smiling from the experience I had while in Vienna…and that was a full four-plus years ago.)

Whoever put those PX's on the top shelf must be a very skilled FLT driver, there appears to be zero clearance between the tops of the scooters and the roof

Fudmucker: Nice pair of wasps! Guess the left one has also a custom color ?
took me quite some time to conclude on the final colour. but loved the process to dive into the whole colour spectrum. finally decided on colour called "gold metallic" from the 70s which porsche used/offered back than (number 2 and 3 were auamarina blue and miami blue).

WLeuthold: Switzerland is tiny. So, I keep my eyes open when I'm on my next tour close to Thun/Bern

2016 M-B AMG GTS "Solar Beam" - which inspired the name "Sunny"



The grey footwell interior is painted - not a rubber lining.

The yellow one is standard 2021 Yellow, but I had every bit of chrome removed and repainted gloss black to contrast with the body. There are 35 colour changes on the Vespa including lightly smoked turn signal lenses.

I even had the chromed "Vespa"name in the speedo painted matching yellow.
