Hi everyone.
First: big thanks to Lebo! He let me borrow his Canyon Dancer, which worked great hauling this 2021 Vespa Primavera 150 (verde relax) about 150 miles on the freeway. (The Primavera only had 350 miles on the odometer.) The U-Haul trailer I rented was a breeze; the front of the trailer had a built-in wheel chalk that didn't disrupt the fender at all.
Now, for the mystery:
The under-seat pet carrier had some parts inside. These are a rear shock bracket and top buffer and some fasteners. What do you think these were for? The seller didn't know and claimed they were "spare parts".
At first I thought maybe the dealer had put on a seat-lowering bracket, replacing the stock bracket. But the original rear shock hardware is still on the Vespa. I can't really tell that it has been replaced at all. Maybe a different scooter at the dealership had a lowering bracket installed, and this hardware was incorrectly placed in this scooter? I'm not sure.
Regardless, the Primavera is super fun. I prefer it in many ways to my previous big-body scooters: 2004 Vespa GT200, 2006 Vespa GT200, and 2019 Vespa GTS300.
