Great classic look and those colours scream old school. The Bullitt is also a good classic looking lid as is the Gringo.

Good choice.

I've owned 3 or 4 Bell Classic 500 helmets. I like them a lot. And they've got some great paint jobs.

After an initial break in period they are really comfortable.

Incredibly strong also.

You can also see a bit more.

You're lucky to get that helmet. I liked it so much that I was going to procure one myself. None to be had in a medium or large as far as I can tell. Happy trails!

It seems stock is low on almost everything everywhere. Canada is never the best place to source gear however Fortnine and the shops around Toronto usually have some stock. I have looked for riding boots and armoured riding pants and zero luck on ANYTHING decent.I'm a pretty standard guy with a 34" waist, 32" inseam and an 11/44 for boots. I've also looked in to a windscreen clip-on extender for the GSA I'm picking up this week and zero luck. The BMW dealership in Toronto was told no gear at all this year but at least they got the bikes. Covid and the port lockdown in China have really screwed up inventory on so many things.

Nice colours, Bill, congrats!

I upgraded my Arai helmet recently.

Arai, not because I'm posh but because my head shape is closer to that of the alien, from the original movie Alien, than the other brands' 'oval'. Don't know what I'll do if they ever stop making their lids.

Certain fancier colors would have had over 6 months delivery time.

They told me at the shop this is because the manufacturer can't push them out as fast as needed, this brand still using some old fashioned manual work during the production phases.

Fellow Arai-head over here. On the one hand, I do get a bit jealous of all the nice helmets other folks have to choose from. On the other hand, it does make things quite easy when there's seemingly only one helmet in the entire world that fits your head.
