A great ride this morning around Lake Wairarapa in the Wellington Region of New Zealand, left home about 10.30 with the temperature a pleasant 23 degrees celsius and rode round the lake to Martinborough and back home to Greytown.

Had a good chat with a fellow rider at the end of the lake, he was on a sport bike but interested to discuss the performance and handling of the mighty Vespa...some pictures below of the lake, got to 29 degrees by the time I got home 2 hours later

Almost 500kms done now in two weeks, another 500 to the first service and its freeing up nicely:scoot:

I'm curious. Are you keeping an eye on your oil? I have '21 GTS 300 SuperTech (iScoot), and for the first 4000 miles (6400km) I was adding 100ml of oil every two to three hundred miles. It seems to be getting better lately, but I'm still keeping a close eye on it. Oh, and a Side note... in America, advertisements that make claims about mileage usually have some caveat, like "your mileage may vary." What do they say in metric adverts?

My scooter is still new, I only just started riding this one a few weeks ago... so time will tell.

Thanks for the post, ...I wish I had more driving time and experience with mine, but it's been tough to find the time to drive it, hoping to in the near future though and can post then, but for me, it's only getting an occasional short ride on the weekend due to a heavy work load.
