Last Saturday I did a full service on my GTS 300, including belt and rollers, belt cover bearing, air filter, motor and gear oil.

When loosening the two bottom air filter housing screws to be able to lift it up I heard a pop and saw a plastic hose bracket fall to the ground.

From the location and shape I figured it was meant to hold the open ended breather (?) hose that runs from the transmission housing towards the middle of the bike and then drops down. I should've taken a photo of the bracket, but was too frustrated trying to figure out where it was supposed to go.

In the end I guessed the bracket could only attach to the rear wheel inner plastic fender, since it had a clasp that appeared to attach well to the straight edge of the fender.

Does this hose bracket sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks

A picture really would help. Can't you take afterwards?

What size hose does the bracket fit?

Not really. The location is hidden unless I remove the rear wheel.

It was wider than the hose closest to where it fell from, but I think it's supposed to keep it away from the rear wheel.

you could try browsing the diagrams in the parts catalogue
