I recently got a new LED light for the headlamp of my Vespa. Once it was installed I tested it out. Everything was fine until I flipped the high beam on, it flickered went bright then I switched back to low beam. It flickered again and died.

Anyone else have good/bad experiences with LED bulbs?

Did that bulb come with a ballast? Typically I've seen LED bulbs come with a ballast since they use much lower levels of electricity.

I had really good results with an OPT7 H4 LED I got from Amazon.

Here's a thread detailing my LED journey on my GTS...
