I like my open face helmet with windshield (I have that cool Vespa Designer special).
Its easy to put on and off and I can even put it on with my glasses on!

Problem is the wind getting under the face shield causing my eyes to water like the Niagra Falls Crying or Very sad emoticon Also for weather protection and less fatigue over long rides I am contemplating a windshield for my 2019 Vespa GTS 300hp.

Thinking of the Faco LX Narrow midsize screen with one of those clip on wind deflectors on top. My goal is to be able to look over the screen while deflecting the wind over my helmet.

I am 6ft with 32" inseam.

Will this work?

Why not just get the adjustable Faco twin screen. You can set it to whatever height works best for you. I have one on my current Sprint and just ordered one for the GTS I bought this week. In the past I had medium height screens with a Laminar Lip, but the Faco is much easier and works great.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I would like be able to look over the screen hoping that that spoiler would guide the wind over my helmet....

How about the stability of sliding windshield?

I have used a "laminar lip" (which is a kind of deflector) mounted on the OEM windscreen on a BV350. That worked fine as far as airflow. My only complaint was that it was a little more trouble cleaning the windscreen and the laminar lip when the bugs were bad.

The Faco twin is very stable and well built. You can move it up to whatever height you need to see over it and have the wind go over the top of your helmet.

I usually use a full face helmet, it's a leftover from the crotch rocket. The other day I found my old half helmet from when I had the Sportster. I took a ride and it was a miserable experience with noise compared to the full face. I just ordered the Falco twin screen this morning. I'll report back once I get it installed.

Yes please keep us posted how you like the twin screen!

Thanks for the other replies as well.

Another reason why I am more inclined for a regular screen is to create a cross bar to hold a Garmin Zumo GPS in the middle rather then clamped on the mirror.
