Can't help but thinking the polini 294 would be better than the Malossi 282

I don't understand the question. But the best explanation is: 282>278

True but I don't believe that is available yet for the HPE.

There's no replacement for displacement compression.

Really? Half the members of this forum want more power (while still having a Vespa, ie a BV400 is of no interest)

Honestly not worth it for a 4cc displacement increase.

Does anyone know what a "HTR" ring (High Turbulence Ring) is? Is there a picture of one?

Otherwise, it is meaningless marketing waffle.

It also has a higher compression than OEM.

Power and torque talks... displacement is secondary. What power/torque is each kit is making? displacement in theory suppose to help with torque but it is all in the metallurgic/materials, weight of the components(piston/rod), angles, openings, timing, compression ratio, cooling of the head, shape of the head, piston rings, piston shape(design in general).

Both brands are incredibly so it is a win-win already.

So they could simply sell a high compression piston?
