Im having problems with my Vespa T5 trying to get it started after stoping. I Pop out n it today to grab some milk but it wouldnt start.
Ending up bumbing it to get it going.
It done it the other week but i fort i sorted it after buying a new CDI, stater, Ht leed and spark plug.
So its not one of them .
I was going to replace them all anyway.

Hm, cdi was gonna be my guess. But since it's not...

When it doesn't start, check if you are getting good spark when kicking, and check if the plug is getting wet (or is sopping wet)

It's almost surely a spark or fuel issue. You getting vapor lock? Are you turning the fuel tap off when you park?

When you bump start it does it feel like you're clearing out a flood before it smooths out?

Choke returning ok?

Bunp ok when walking with it but it took abit for the revs to build up.
Not a problem riding back.
I havent had chance to try it but i have time tomorrow.
Might just be the hole blocked in the fule cap.

Guessing if your fuel cap isn't breathing it would die on the way there or back.

Try opening the throttle halfway with no choke.
