That's my perspective on these fun projects.

I'm on the side of sell it for what it will sell for, not what you think is top dollar. And whatever over that you dumped into it was the cost of renting it for the amount of time and fun you had with it. You passed it off to the next person in better condition that you received it in.. and that next person is gonna have even more fun with it.

Agreed, if you gonna sell something, it's to pay for the next more fun bike.
