What is going on behind the leg shield of the VBA?

Tachometer and temp gauge and other fancy-pantsy monitoring gizmos. That thing is kitted out like a rocket. As pictured it would easily do 70 (on 8's!)... now its been "refined" further, maybe gets upper 70's? Maybe 80?!?

Hands down the craziest 8 inch bike I have ever ridden.

Holy cow. 70 on 10's is scary enough I don't want to imagine it on 8's. I just keep seeing a pot hole and a trail of tears behind me on the road.

But me of 20 yrs ago would have blasted that all over town! Now I'm an old wuss with kids.

Ummm, 60 on 8s is a ball shrinking, butt puckering experience, so wuss... I don't think so!

okay... question... my shop door is 288ft from the gate. if I leave the shop and ride around in the driveway and along the fence does that count?

I know bass lake! used to go there for a month every summer when I was young. waterski, dirt bike, hike and camp. great fun. damn lake is cold as balls even in august!

used to race cigarette boats late in the day when it got calm and smooth. that seems like a lifetime ago now!

This is quite old but a bit of my Rally outside Sydney Opera House.

Yes, I used to camp there at Bass Lake but a bark beetle infestation killed thousands of trees around the lake so now I just hang out at Ducey's Lodge and drink beer. You can see some of the dead trees in the pic.

My last good ride was in Greece a couple of weeks ago.

I took a spring shakedown ride a couple of weeks ago. This is down by the water in Seattle. It's been nothing but rain since then.

Did a longer shake down ride today

Took my Stella down to the DMV to get my smallframe registered. Got an a-hole employee who wouldn't let me register it untitled with the correct proof of ownership documents from the seller. Told me I didn't have the correct documents and needed to go up to Albany to get a title for it, and wouldn't listen to me that I had the correct documents cause I registered another one with the same documents last month at the same dmv. Employees are like a lottery. Sometimes you get a difficult one, sometimes you get a happy one.

So I left and chose to go for a long ride down to the Verrazano bridge Park and will go back next week and get it registered with a less obnoxious DMV employee.

Getting real close on jetting on this Stella! It's crazy fast now and extremely clean throttle response.
