Just got going too fast for the S-turn and it was that or hit the side of a cliff. Life is trade-offs.

Damn, QA! You're making me want to head west.
It was raining so hard here today that I actually had to drive my wife's car to go to the doctor. |

Anytime you make it out to the Central Oregon Coast Chandler, you know you've got a scooter to ride on this very road the pictures came from. And, even a place to sleep!
And Thanks ExMayor - it sure was a beautiful day. I pulled over many times, but only took a few pictures... |

Always wanted to ride from Newport up through Cannon beach to Astoria. |

Just the loveliest winter day in Auckland. Other's sign rides inspired me to go and capture my favourite. It looks like it's been touched up which makes me feel good. It should remain for always and ever. Hopefully not cropped… it was hard to get away from cars.

What a great ride and nice weather too... Or was it almost too hot some of the time? My nephew skis in that area at Seli(?), so up in the mountains it's probably cooler there now.
Curious: Which bike did you ride, blue P200? And roughly how much gas did you burn? So five fast Ps and three modern bikes... Did anybody break down? |

Every P/PX of the bunch, except the black one, has a Malossi kit on… No breakdowns, only a broken CHT ring on the green one which we replaced on the spot… |

Few days ago I met a guy who told me that in the past he was Harley rider but now he not ride any two wheels for 7 years. And near 10 years ago when he worked in Africa he ride once on the PX 125 his english friend and was very tempted by it.
He turns out a really good man so I offered him a Vespa ride with us. I told that I can give him my PK. He said that he will be with wife. I warn that the scooter is not very comfy for two but there was already nothing that can stopping this couple Today was very hot day(almost 40ºC/104º F) so we decided to run out from the city to the pine forest with river nearby. It was great 70 km / 44 miles ride. My new friends were completely satisfied and I was pleased to see the genuine joy on their faces.

I may be flouting the rules since yesterday's evening ride was on a 4T bike... We're trying to make the most of the dwindling days in August before our daughter leaves to start college out of state.
She asked to take a pre-dinner rip on our '74 flat twin, on which we crossed over the train tracks and contemplated future destinations unknown. Some trainspotter left their HD-branded Budweiser can on the overpass here, almost like a photo prop. I'm pretty sure that, on this Amtrak line, one could take a ride all the way from NYC to Montreal.

Wow, so many old Euro memories you've stirred for me, including the Mini I loved and wish I still had . The Morgan PlusFour is another favorite of mine I rarely see...
Thanks for all the great pics and the insight into Ukrainian scene! Mmmm... Wartburg? I am somewhat attracted somehow. I can even remember when curb feelers were a thing, but four?! |

Nowhere special but this neighbor's riotous front landscaping.

And great summer Saturday weather, how can you NOT go for a ride? I haven't taken the zippy AllState out for a good thrashing in a while, so I thought I'd give it a shot and try to overcome my Breakdown Anxiety over making it back home . Lots of WOT & old bike performed magnificently!
I live on the edge of a small suburban forest w/ gullies, streams and wetlands. I grew up around here and even caught huge bullfrogs in these small streams as a kid. It was once being 'developed' until the city bought it years ago and started slowly restoring things to their natural state. Raccoons, coyotes and even occasional deer are seen around here. Named after a local Go Getter.
Map & entrance, I went in a ways but pushing only so I wouldn't get yelled at, though there are no signs that actually PROHIBITED motorized vehicles. Just Closed After Dark and Don't Feed the Animals, No Booze, No Fireworks etc.
I rolled in for a look at these timeline ariel pics of the park since 1961.
