Bella in the Art Deco capital in New Zealand; Napier which was destroyed in an earthquake in 1931 and largely rebuilt in the Art Deco style. This is the Rothmans Building, now home to a winery.

Outside my motel done in the similar Art Deco style.

Awww, thanks. I may paint it one day, but not soon. I did a couple of full strip downs/paintings....sheesh...20 years ago. Once they were back together and all pretty I just sorta lost interest in them.

Hey Eric,
I'm interested in your luggage box, it looks cool. What is it and how is it mounted? It would be nice to have extra storage on my Allstate, the rack on it is pretty useless.

Box is just a pine gift box from a vendor. 16x10x5. I cut a 7" piece of aluminum L and drilled two holes. I use that under the buddy rack, with the brass bolts through the bottom of the box. I've seen similar cheap wood boxes at Target in the craft section. I did three coats of a stain, and three coats of oil urethane. I don't put a ton of weight into it, but it holds my rain gear, a flat cap, a flask and a few tools wrapped in bar towels. All of the hardware is brass, except for the stainless washers and the aluminum bar. Figured it would all age well together.

Pic is from last summer. I rode out to the big city, and once I got there I got stopped at a train crossing. It was close to 100 degrees out, so I hopped off my PX210 and took refuge in some shade. In the meantime some methhead pushed his shopping cart in the path of the locomotive. All his aluminum beer cans went EVERYWHERE in a loud cacophony. Because the shopping cart got ran over, the whole train had to stop and investigate what happened...which took an extra 10 minutes of waiting around for the train to pass.

Took out my -68 Primavera from my shed in october last year and began working on it.

In january it was actually in my house, living room to be specific.

After finishing touches it was moved back in the shed to wait for spring.

After the snow melted, it was time to take it for a spin. First time on the road since -95 possibly.
