Good stuff there folks and great vid.
I have zero travel plans in October and look to make it a month of rides and wrenching.

Crusty on top, slimy underneath. We have lime clay soil here and when that gets driven from the olive groves onto the road it gets slippy too. It is however só sticky and slippy when raining that farming equipment gets stuck in it. As such it is a self solving issue The olive harvest is not very time critical so the farmers simply wait. |

A couple great things happen (besides having fun) when you finally get a project on the road: The time spent on the project starts to feel like it wasn't so long or difficult. All the flaws and imperfections one picks at and fusses over during the restoration vanish. Hardest thing now is deciding which one to ride on any given day. |

While I've been riding the Smallie a decent amount, usually almost killing myself by trying to accidentally wheelie it on top of myself at least once per trip, I've been tacking pictures on the Lammy.
This weekend was up to Kentucky and through the rolling hills. Found a cool old one lane bridge, so we stopped and took some pictures. I rode close to 200 miles total and promptly ordered a new seat and an extended range tank when I got home.

Thanks for that! Next weekend will be our annual "Snakes on the Trace" club weekend, which'll be about 300 miles total riding by the time I get back in the door on Sunday. It'll be interesting to see what tries to shake loose during all that. |

Rode em all today. (Err… all that are running.) P200, PV125, VNB and finished off with a bakers dozen of miles on the SS180. A good day. Didn't suck.

Took a quick ride to Yachats this morning, before the weather turns too wet...
Met this guy from Germany, riding to the tip of South America. Very cool. He had a bunch of questions about my Vespa - hasn't seen too many in the States - shifty that is...
Next stop was to check in on my buddy Ray.
Then stopped at the Green Salmon for a coffee and chocolate croissant. I got the last one
Finally, a scooter picture! The ocean was cranking this morning

whodatschrome wrote: Ugh...but in a good way. It can totally be done, but a Baja 390...i mean KTM 390 Adventure is kind of a small bike to ride all the way down to Cape Horn. He definitely looks German with all of the Touratech gear and accessories! But at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what he's riding. Undoubtedly he's going to have a blast with many, many exiting adventures during his trip! I have to say i'm a bit jealous. "The bike has been the perfect size - anything bigger is just heavier". He is beelining it to Mexico because "America is so expensive - even camping!". "It's an adventure of a lifetime, but I miss my friends and home". I felt for him... And he made the aluminum panniers, in which he's not super happy with the outcome "but they work". Home-made panniers. I like the KTM Vietnam sticker
