I feel the same. Helps keep me motivated to get my junk built...still takes too long, but seeing everyones rides out and about is inspiring.

Occasionally sunny today, so I was encouraged to ride. Halfway to my lunch destination, the skies opened and absolutely DUMPED rain on me. Lunch happened under a cover, and an hour later it looked ok again, so off I go. Twice more on my way home, I rode through serious rain (it is called the *Winter* Mileage Challenge, after all), arriving home soaked but happy.

Cheers,

Bob

My horn honked w/ key on and motor not running so looks like the the interlock safety relay is whacked. i'ma try the SaFiS plan in the morning. Thank you again for leading me out of the PX electrical wilderness.
If you're wanting to have an interlock on the PX for some reason, i should have at least one in my shelf…unless i threw it away after i removed it from my own PX. It's probably better to just bypass it though. At least that's what i did whenever i got my hands on any PXs.

Chicago traffic & parking enforcement rode P200's for years and SFPD had Sprints and (I think) also P200's.

Lots of Lambrettas (innocenti and servetta) used by NYPD and other east coast departments as well as a fleet of Sprints used by NYPD.

There's even an old book about 2 of the NY cops on the scoot squad.

Cop bikes - I have an blue engine cowl on my Sprint that came from a NYC POLICE Sprint. You can still see traces of POLICE in white.

It was rattle canned red when I got it and I didn't discover it's heritage until I'd power fine wire brushed half of the red off and none of the blue although I was bearing down hard. It just polished the blue, that old original paint is mighty toff stuff Clap emoticon .

Took the Smallie out today and just had to stop and grab a picture with this one.

I don't know how it was possible, but I could swear the clutch was slipping. I was going uphill and dropped into 2nd to get back into the power band, shifted back into 3rd and in the second or two I was trying to decide about the clutch slip, I accidentally hit 70 in a 35. Good thing this bike has a great front brake.

Scott, you definitely have some of the most beautiful scenery for your shots of anyone here.

I can't wait to get out there and do some riding at Lammy Jammy this summer.

Thanks man. I need to plan some time to ensure we get a ride to Yachats! I'll show you my stomping grounds here on the Central Oregon Coast. And maybe we can get Jesse to join us 😀

I took a spin to Yachats this morning and stopped to see my good friend Ray, who just sold Cleft of the Rock Lighthouse, a private lighthouse here on the Oregon Coast.

Ray is a walking encyclopedia of everything lighthouse and nautical. Cool dude.
Lovin it Scott. Ray's view isn't terrible either! 😝
