Don't think I have posted any "beauty" shots of my Stella to this forum... Got these last week! Extremely happy with how the MRP rack accentuated the body line that the yankee seat added.

I've been lucky enough not to have been caught by a speed camera for a very long time, despite the ridiculously low speeds imposed by the current war on personal means of transportation here (18 mph inside Paris, 31 mph on the 4-lane freeway that circles around Paris). Needless to say you risk losing your license riding at anywhere near the speeds these roads were built for. But if I do get caught again some day, I hope it's really worth framing the picture - like "revoked license" worth it.... Here's a few more pics of the T5 on the road:

Ran to the hardware store for some quick release hose parts today. 5th summer has been HOT. 6th winter comes next week. Monday and Tuesday will be down right cold!
Anywho, rode there and got home and about 2 hrs later I reach in my pocket and feel my steering lock key…. Whoops. Rode home with out it in the lock! Lucky I didn't get my steering stuck to the way right!
Ol' Bluey out for some Vitamin D.

Both the scooter and the lake look great, Scott!
I only got out enough for a test ride to the liquor store and back, but all indicators (EGT, AFR) were good.

Monday thru Friday almost all riders will acknowledge. Weekends the only ones to wave are the patched members. There are a few Harleys, and sport bike riders that had to show respect, after a run to 100mph behind my GL. I don't do it often, but boy are they surprised !

Here in Philly I get the respect almost every time. It's usually younger crotch rocket types that don't give it here.

The scruffy dudes on older bikes are generally cool; they recognize and respect people who ride. Unfortunately, most of them are project managers cosplaying tough guys with shiny new or over-chromed bikes on the weekend. Fuck those guys.

Around here, most motorcycle riders (especially the larger displacement types) don't really acknowledge scooters. The only times I really flash signs is out in the country, where riders are more likely to be cruising and sight-seeing rather than commuting, and bikes see what looks like a commuterped out on the open road, which I guess they respect more than a shopping trolley sticking to its element.
Thing is, I don't think they even like larger scooters like T-Maxes and MP3 500s, say; so a comparatively much smaller scooter like a Vespa or a Lammy is often mistaken for a 50cc teenager's go-to-school bike. I do get some side glances when I'm going full speed on highways tho, as that kind of speed isn't expected from a 50cc commuter. Harleys kind of stand out (except the fancy-boy dentist roughing it on the weekends types), as they tend to be aware of older all-metal shifty mechanical oddities. mardruck wrote: National holiday here in Brazil.
