Baxter St. in Echo Park, Los Angeles. Hard to tell from the pic but this is one of the steepest streets in the US.
The street that schmuck got air on his Tesla and crashed it into a parked car, totaling it.

Love to hear how that venturi works out.

Pretty sure that's his wife's SUV Facepalm emoticon

The Waze app takes Uber drivers through there when there's traffic on Sunset. After a new rain it's hell for the uninitiated.

Another Pleasant Valley Sunday. About twenty minutes later, with darkness rapidly descending, I felt the wiggle- woggle of a rapidly deflating rear tire. I got her safely stopped (heart rate was jacked). My tools were sitting in the garage. Agh. My lovely, tolerant wife video streamed from the garage while I pointed out everything I needed. Changed out the tire by car headlights. Spare had ample air. So there was that. I think i picked something up turning around on a cruddy shoulder (as pictured).

I actually bought a 20/20 & 24/24. I put the 20/20 on the Stella, and the 24/24 on the Allstate. I love the design of these that Oopsclunkthud created. Super easy to order through Shapeways. I want to do a separate writeup on them here in the near future. I've been consumed by the lift project, though and that is finally winding down.

I upped the main jet by 6 on the 24/24 and so far, it's running nice, by the feel and temp.

And shifting is performing wonderfully! No hiccups whatsoever...

Heck yeah! It looks like custom air filtration, correct? And man, I gotta tell ya, the fit and finish of the 24/24 venturi, with it's slanted top and nubs to click it into the screw holes is genius and works great.

Thanks Patrick for.putting this design out there for us all. It's greatly appreciated!

Very nice, a pleasant little surprise today! And your unique blue centerstand is growing on me.
(But I think the rest of the bike might look even better w/ some well done white pin striping maybe? )

Blue wouldn't be my first choice for the center stand. The painter did a very nice job, and apparently the PO was so pleased with the painter that he had him paint just about everything blue. (See below)

Scooter Rally weekend, but I decided to spend it with motorcycles in the mountains.
Hopped on the freeway to head to the meetup, oh last time I changed the jets was at the top of Crater Lake (7000ft) and it was hot. pull off at next offramp, drop the jet a size... do this 3 more times and on my way.

Thanks!
Horns- Semi truck loud. I have a doorbell mounted near the brake pedal that I can tap with my toe.
Scraping- clearance is as good as the Sim on 8's. But I did have a touch today in a harder lean. They're mounted to pull off without damaging the floorboards if they had to. Can replace for about $15.
Red/ Gray- I had a flat. Put a new tube in the tire, but I've been lazy about swapping it back on. The more I look at the red the more I like it. Maybe with some whitewalls.
