Oh don't skimp on the clutch basket… even if the basket on mine wasn't trashed, I think it wouldn't have took long to trash it… There's no competition between the pressed basket vs CNC basket. It's light years ahead in terms of construction. Just the thickness of materials is evident. But doing the maths… it still works out cheaper than a largeframe CNC clutch and it's better design. No wonder those German and Italian companies work on so many smallframe parts…!! |

Primmy cases for me with PK XL2 clutch cover. The XL2 cover with geared actuator is not needed with this clutch though.
It needed the clutch cover to be spaced out a tad with the supplied spacer and I made my own shims behind the brake plate and wheel hub to get them out 1mm. You know what I have got the same problem with the 3)4 gear's slipping in and out my front wheel lock up but Hay l just kept pushing on for about 200 yards or so and I believe it is the clutch burnout. Hopefully a new plates may solve it just need to try and find a way to do it ✊

I was expecting that I'd find bent tabs on the clutch plates as a big part of the problem, but it was definitely the excess gear play and cruiciform replacement that finally fixed it.
