Femsa Rally cases have those, for the CDI wires.

Might be for the coil on some others.

Some old motors like early VNBs had the high tension coil on the stator and the spark plug lead came out there.

That makes perfect sense. But, why would they have the 2 mounting screws molded into the case to mount the ignition coil if it is internal. At least, I'm guessing I routed the wires correctly. I was thinking the 2 wires going to the coil would go there with some kind of grommet ant 4 other wires to the junction box.
