I have been searching online for a couple days about fuel and the census seems to be a lot of people prefer 91 octane non ethanol. I was reading through my owners manual on the fuel because I would prefer non Ethanol as well however my book says minimum 95 octane. Now I live in WV and I have never seen 95 octane the highest I have ever I'm seen is 93! My gas station at the end of my road has 91 octane non ethanol and that was what I was planning on using but wanted to see what people had to say here.

FAQ: What octane should I use in my scooter?

95 Ron Europe = 91 Ron US . So that local ethanol free fuel is fine.

Moreover, ethanol free gas is basically impossible to find in many places (inc Italy and California). The engine can handle 10% ethanol without blinking, so long as you ride it regularly.

Ethanol free gas gets slightly better mileage, but if it's pricier or out of the way, it might not be worth the hassle.

In my own experience, modern Vespas run fine on 10% ethanol gasoline. The one clear advantage of ethanol free gasoline is that it stores much better, so I make a practice of fueling with ethanol free in the winter and when I expect to be gone for an extended period.
