I love it!

The guy I bought my Sprint off of gave me a couple of those Mercedes hubcaps. I don't know if I still have them, though.

Ok folks!

I've ridden it about for a few weeks and now I am ready to disassemble for paint and rebuild the engine!

I have a need, and some questions, and not sure how to find them. My wallet is wide open.

1. What is the 1980 color if I were to use two stage? I just wat to be pretty close and its probs gonna be ppg.

2. Front fender reflectors- they are UGLY, but factory, so I am going to find some- anyone holding for a worthy project?

3. CAN I gently remove the aluminum trim and put it back on after paint? If not, how hard is it to put the same type trim back on?

4. Stator- rebuild original or buy a replacement? I can solder.

Finally- drill through crash bars or no? I DONT want to drill, but I DO want the front crash bars so I can recline on me scoot parked with a leg up on the crash bar. I recall that being a comfortable position.

I am really looking forward to riding this one on the regular- love that p200 sound and its just easy to pop out of the garage and go for a spin.

I might have reflectors, I'll need to dig. I seem to remember them being okay-ish in the color department.

you *might* be able to get the trim off without mangling it. getting it back on is the trick. BTW, I have the tool and you're more than welcome to borrow it. as well as the fork bearing too!

if you're keeping the wiring harness, rebuild the stator. if not, upgrade harness and stator

the drill thru's look the best IMO. but if you just put on that reused trim, clamp ons will hide a multitude of sins.

also, china blue!!! or marina blue!!!

Silver should be PIA108 or PIAG108.

Silver for fork, hubs, etc. is Alluminio Ruote 983.

Nice! Always wanted one of those. I had 2 different Fiat Spiders back in the day. Fun cars, horrible transmissions. Fond memories . Based on the pain I remember I'd probably take the cheater shortcut and get an older Miata if I get the bug again.

Ya, it kind of a novelty thing driving it because it's so uncomfortable. But then engine is built and It. Is. Fast.

Well, my bodywork was pretty good but not great and silver REALLY REALLY shows everything- bot as bad as black but CLOSE.

Painter was a true professional- he really smashed the clear on with almost no orange peel. I am super happy and excited to get it back together and on the road again!!!!

This week will be legshield trim and slowly getting the cables and wires in place. Maybe the rails. I don't think I'll be riding this week but you never know how my patience will hold up lol...

Some indonesian junk that's goin round.....mommys alright, daddys...

Sorry, got lost in the music there.

It was a bonus find with some parts I bought. I have a good friend whos wife is a rabid Prince fan, so I think I am going to make a Prince tribute scooter out of it. Complete with decals under the clear.

Its a P150S Smart Vespa. Seemingly rare and unwanted but kind of cool

I'll post up a thred on it later this year when I get started on it.
