Just picked up a 76 VBC with a battery and it's got a kill switch, but none of the schematics I've found on scooterhelp or elsewhere show a kill switch. I'd prefer to have the exact schematics as the scooter is surprisingly 100% original and I'd like to keep it as close as possible.

TIA for the help!

See?

Welcome to the forum.

Does your Super have one fuse or two fuses? They changed the wiring and switches a bit on the later models.

Check out this diagram, it may be what you're looking for.

That's awesome! Thanks so much. Yes it's only got one fuse.

I see you've got a 76 Super too. Is it odd that my cowls don't have the aluminum strip accents?

Thanks for the welcome! I didn't realize that I've never posted before. I've been on here forever but never had a reason to post until now. Almost everything else is already on here and I've never had info to contribute.

Should I do an intro post? I know on some other forums it's rude to not do that.

I believe in 1976 they left the factory without cowl trim pieces. Brownie doesn't have them. The cowls on my yellow super are from an earlier year.

Here's some that I have on my phone from the listing and a few I took. I'll add some more pics tonight.

Original dealer sticker!

Hope he finds that door. Probably won't. :/

Pretty interesting spare holder.

Headed home!

Almost looks like no screw has been touched since the factory.

Tank will need some work.

Speedo is pristine.

Cool find! Thanks for posting more pics.
That blue was such a great color.

Good luck on the resto. Looking forward to watching.

Thanks! I'm really stoked about it. I do have a few projects ahead of it, but when I start on it I'll make a post detailing it. Don't plan to do a ton to it other than stop the rust give it a shine and make it run reliably. I hate to change a thing about it. I may remove the windscreen though 😆 the wind is a necessity in Florida.

Thanks SoCal. I'll probably be asking you more questions in the future once I start working on her. I've got a couple projects ahead of her.
