I've seen this issue in a few posts oil blowing thru pcv into air box. I have the same issue and think I found the cause at leat on my 03 bv200.Yesterday I did an oil change then took a ride about 12 miles at the end of which I got almost 1/2 a quart out of the air filter drain not a good thing.Today I unhooked the line from the airbox and ran it into a juice container with a 1/4 inch vent drilled in the top and took the same ride at the same speed and checked it at the end of the ride and it had a few drops of oil which is what i would expect. What I think is happening is the point where the 1/2" hose attaches to the airbox has a passage that is about 1/16 of an inch and its building excess pressure in the crankcase so Im considering drilling it to 1/4 - 3/8. has any one tried this. Does this even make sense?

You might be overfilling the oil. Try and keep the oil level at halfway on the dipstick.

did you screw the dipstick all the way back in when checking the level after toping it up?

Its not an overfill issue. The specs on the liquid cooled 200cc leader engine call for 1 liter and after draining and replacing oil filter I only add 1/2 quart to start incase of residual oil. I am realy anal about overfilling as engines hate it and oil is $10 a quart. When that line is hooked to the air box you can watch it pour out of the drain but as soon as its unhooked it stops blowing oil

I'm not totally familiar with the BV engine, but I do know if there is too much pressure in the crank case area, it will blow out too much oil. This usually happens when the intake of air into the crank case is compromised or the line running to the PCV is obstructed in some way.

But did you check the dipstick?

Yes I did check the dipstick. What I am wondering is why it blows oil only when connected to the air box. But when I do this it blows no oil

Blocket air filter element could cause that in some cases. Or if it is saturated with too much oil. Engine oil or filter oil.

filter is good. Now that I am running it into an oil catchment the i
ssue is gone its blowing mostly oil vapor less than 1/2 teaspoon in catchment after 100 miles of hills. I still think its the small port in the air box building pressure. I just cant understand why they would run an inch line to a 1/8 inch hole.

Like I said before, I don't know this engine, but is there a PCV or is it just an open loop?

just a breather. but why would they reduce an 11/16 breather hose
to 1/8 at the airbox

So can a broken piston.
