... ugh now the seat lock broke. I know those locks are not safe at all and maybe it's better to leave it open so nobody breaks anything with a screwdriver, but still annoying to see it got detached and is now sunk in somewhere under where it should be...can't figure out how to get to it.

Broken lock

There are supposed to be two big screws in those holes at the bottom of the picture. Are they floating around under the seat?

Same thing happened to my 2015 several times. The only lasting cure was a dab of blue LocTite on each screw. That stopped the issue.

I just noticed today that one of my seat lock screws is loose.

Time to nip that in the bud.

Just found one... now. it's a matter of finding a twin somewhere (seems an odd. one) and also figuring out how to get to the stuff.

Probably Just snag the lock mechanism with some sort of hook and pull it back up in to place so you can get the screw in. And come up with a suitable replacement screw.

Most likely the screw(s) fell into the helmet bucket area.

At least that's where mine ended up twice before I applied a drop of blue LocTite on each screw.

Just managed to find one screw. Will try to find a replacement at local hardware store. Thanks!

Wow Team - thank you SO much. Once told what to do and how to do it, it wasn't hard! Virtual beer round on me! 😁👍

PS: And you were right, once I thoroughly scanned the storage I found the other screw, too.
