Hello all,
I would like to change the oil of my LX150 in one of the next weekends (definitely overdue in terms of time).

The Piaggio original part # is 82635R. I am open to use an equivalent part from different manufacturer (Wix, STP, K&N...) that I can find at a local auto parts store and I would like to use the expertise in the forum before starting the work.
My assumption is that pretty much any filter with the same thread (should be M14) and similar dimensions (diam 52 x height 61 mm) should do its work just fine. Do you agree?
In case, has anyone some indications on equivalent filters from various manufacturers that can be used to replace the original 82635R?

Thank you!

Agree, HF197. The HF stands for HiFlo.

Using cheap filters makes your Vespa sad. The OEM filter by Mahle is (barely) less than $7.

I'm seriously curious why anyone would pay more for a cheap aftermarket filter than a real OEM filter. Malossi, K&N, I get. But Hiflo or some weird brand like Power Lizard from AliExpress? What's the reasoning? If they were free vs $10 for the real thing, most Vespisti will pony up the $10.

So, you think we should all use OEM motor oil also? And OEM coolant? And OEM brake fluid?

I definitely know more than one person in Colorado who likes Youtube, and everyone else who disagrees with me.
But everyone who agrees with me probably knows as much as I do, and they're pretty smart people.
