Modern Vespa

So I do have that problem where my seat button on the dash is always working have tried it with the key far away from the scooter and it still works,so anybody knows what could causes the problem,I want to have feature but if I can't find a fix I might just delete the switch.

The seat opening button on the dash should only be enabled when the scooter is unlocked. It's nothing to do with how close the key might be. If it still works when the scooter is locked (not just 'OFF') then you'll need to change the wiring to what it should be.

Just a guess - you haven't had the ignition switch changed out at all, ever? Piaggio have several different ignition switch internal arrangements, but they often fit the same connectors... It is just possible an alternate ignition switch has been fitted with the internal wiring just that bit different, changing the behaviour of some items.

I don't actually know if the wiring/ignition has been changed cause I bought it about a month ago and it had this problem,It had some other electrical issues like headlight/horn not working
