I need some pictures of the installed Vespa floor mats. Especially showing the fit on the edges. In other words, close-ups show how the mat lays and follows the floor. Also, I need to know if you removed the outer rubber strip from the floor or cut the mat's protrusions off.

Thanks

You are supposed to remove the outer strips from each side of the floor before installing the mat.

Pic of my old GTS (don't have it any more)

AFAIK it's just the outer rubber strips you have to remove. The rubber 'lugs' of the mat fit into these channels. When I had mine I removed the rubber lugs (protrusions) from under the mat and just laid the mat on top of the rubber floor strips. It worked well enough and made cleaning underneath the mat a cinch.

The most important thing is to REGULARLY lift the mat to remove any grit and moisture that may become trapped otherwise the grit scratches your floor paintwork.

Think you're right. I'll correct my comment
