Good morning hive mind!

Quick question, anyone have good method for removing the insert in the frame of a P200? Where the front cowl pin goes in and makes contact for the rear blinkers.

Thanks gang!

You mean the brass pin and plastic dome?

A small flat bladed screw driver an pliers usually works. Lever a gap and gently grasp it

Naw…the insert that the cowl pin goes into. I have one in an old frame in the shed but can't seem to get it out without breaking it.

Pic for reference (I know I missing the grommet for the cables. Another thing on my "to do" list" 😁

Ah the other side…

I remember it took some time to get out last time I rewired my lusso.

But if I remember right, it's just unplug the wire and push it outside the frame from inside the tunnel…

There should be a sleeve that protects the connector. That needs to slide off away from the outside or you cant push it through

Pull the gas tank and then tap it out from the inside with a plastic mallet. If you try to pry it out with a screw driver from the outside, you will most likely ruin it. Another idea is to just ruin it and buy a new one.
