Hi All,

Just looking for clarification on for a p series flywheel side race clearance.

The race that needs to be installed on the shaft of the crank (flywheel side)------what is the required clearance away from the web of the crank?

I have read 0.5mm is the appropriate distance. Fellow backyard mechanics tell me 0.5mm but I see a special tool that scootermercato sells that states the clearance is 1.0mm.

Any clarification?

Thank you.

1.0 mm is the correct clearance.

I bought the tool. Maybe overkill but it was cheap and I was ordering a bunch of stuff anyway.

I was going to. Then remember my friend and scooter help both stating it's 0.5mm.

I should have bought it too.

Using the correct tool for the job is never overkill. The spacer makes it a easy straight forward job
