I have been meaning to share the story of my recently purchased 2021 GTS 300 Racing 60s scooter. I had been very happy with my 2016 Sprint 150, but I found that riding it on the back farm roads on the Eastern Shore in Delaware and Maryland that I was usually thrashing the poor thing at it's limits speed-wise. So I casually started looking to upgrade to a more powerful scoot. Would have been happy with an BV350 or the new 400 but tough to find around here. Same with the Yamaha Xmax. No Yamaha dealers that I contacted had one nor knew when they might get one. Anyway, I kept and eye on Facebook Marketplace and lo and behold I found a guy selling not one, but two Racing 60s GTSs. One in the green and one in the white/red. He was only asking $6300 each and believe it or not, each scooter only had .5 miles on the ODO! Of course I made an appointment to meet him and brought some money. Had to take the ferry from Lewes DE to Cape May, NJ. When I got there I was happy to see it was all legit. Perfect scoots. Put money down on the green one. I had to know the story behind this and it's a good one. Turns out that the seller wanted to get scooters for himself and his fiancee to ride around the beach town of Wildwood. Site unseen, he ordered the two scoots from Brooklyn Vespa and had them delivered by truck to Wildwood. After unloading them in the driveway they were never ridden. The fiancee got on the white one, said "this is too big, I can't ride this". Her man said "OK honey, let's go in another direction". He bought them a mega electric golf cart and she is happy as a clam!. The scooters sat over the winter in the garage and he put them up for sale this May. I was even able to get him to knock off some bucks because the brakes had gotten spongy sitting around and needed a bleed. So I now own a beautiful Racing Green GTS. Have already put 400 miles on it, added a Faco Twin windscreen, rear rack and Givi top box. Love the power, love the stability, and love the look of this great scooter!

Damn! Sounds like you're a thief!

Good for you. That Cape May Ferry is hoot, too.

Nice story, thanks for sharing.I love reading something like this from people who have some writing skills. I often write myself, the last time I did a review of Conrad's work Heart of Darkness and found a great example of essay https://graduateway.com/essay-examples/who-am-i/ ,this is what I need in my studies, since help to a student is always welcome

Up to 1500 happy miles now. Man, these GTSs have some smooth power. Very happy with it. Now just hoping I am not one of the fuel pump recall members. So far it's not on the list and I have had no problems. 🤞🏻

No. A guy from Pennsylvania snapped it right up. I wonder if he posts here on MV?
