My daughter-in-law just bought an Elettrica 70, and I'm trying to come up with good gifts for a new scooter rider (besides paying for her riding lessons). Looking for ideas....

A quality set of riding gear. A minimum would be a helmet, gloves, jacket and shoes. It's best to do your research on a helmet, it's the most important aspect of her safety and protection.

A pedestrian alert of sorts (as in a friendly one), rather than using the horn. An electric scoot it going to be rather quiet. Is there something that would fit/mount?
A hi-viz jacket to stow away in the glovebox (just in case of bad weather or a breakdown). A matching top box. A photochromatic helmet visor (tinted in the day, clear at night). Always wanted one of those. An Apple AirTag (or something similar) for tracking the bike. Some cool luggage (not sure what's Vespa specific). A performance exhaust (only joking) 🙃 |

Small air compressor if they don't already have one.
Saw top box listed, but any kind of rear storage! Stolen milk crate? Wicker basket? USB Phone charger or long phone cord? Don't know what the standard plug is on the E's

I second (and/or third) all of the suggestions above.
But also adding bungees to the list. When I bought my first scoot, I was gifted a cargo net bungee. It wasn't a gift so much as a "here, I have an extra one of these" hand-me-down from my motorcycle enthusiast father. Honestly, it's the best and most useful thing anyone gave me when I first started riding.

Good on ya for doing this. These are all great ideas, but if I had to choose just one item, it would be a high-quality helmet. But I would have her choose the color & graphics, to ensure her sense of ownership, so to speak.
