Quick question. Does the fact that I have a PK 125 cylinder on my VMA2M engine require different ignition timing than if I were using the stock cylinder? It's currently set to 24° BTDC, per VMA2M specs. Thanks.

Hmmmm. I'm an electrical idiot so please use the following with zero assurances and the high probability your motor could explode based on my total lack of anything resembling basic electrical knowledge....

PK125's ran at 19* BTDC, yeah? Both points or EI

So, I guess I'd start at 19 or 20 with a CHT gauge on board for monitoring.

YMMV, YVME, etc etc

So, Everything else being stock, the cylinder determines the ignition timing?
