A few months ago I got cut off and layed my p200 down. It sat in my garage for 2 1/2 months while I healed. I went and kicked it then checked and no spark. I have a vape ignition so I was told I needed a new vape cdi installed it no spark. Then I iwastold that my pick up coil was bad but couldn't just get the pick up had to order whole new stator. Installed it with new HT wire new spark plug and new Ngk spark plug end. Checked all connection and used a meter to check for continuity still no spark. All else fails order new magnet ring for flywheel. Install it I get spark but wont fire thats what led me to check compression and the whole other nightmare that ensued. Just want my p200 running again. Off to change fly side oil seal after draining oil.

Sounds like you've been taken on a bit of a ride by the person helping you out.
I doubt the reason why those parts needed to be swapped out. If the stator got damaged, your bike should be a write off… |

Got the new malossi 210 sport kit installed. Squish is.9, everything is torqued to spec. Hook up compression tester thats been tested with another tester and is on. Only get 90psi. It wouldn't fire with the Vape ignition so I put the stock stator and fly on and It fired. Got carb dialed in with 132 main jet on 26/26. Feels week I'm not going WFO but just trying to seat the rings.
Anyone have any idea why still such low compression? Also pulled carb and box replaced both gaskets and torque to spec. Also anyone have any idea why the Vape ignition won't make it fire and the stock one did? All the parts are new stator, cdi, magnet, basically the whole stupid. |

Don't worry about compression readings. It's a two-stroke and a new cylinder.
Did you check Vape for timing with a strobe? |

Cant test the vape with a stroke, it will only fire with the stock ignition and I'm running 18°Btdc like it says online.
I have a ring gap of .25 |
