Hello everybody iam new to this site and look forward to some interesting subjects.
I recently acquired a Durkopp Diana Ts 200.
Iam hoping that somebody might be able to help me locate a few parts it's missing.
I need headlight and the surround a bench type seat and front brake cable for starters.

You may have more luck posting in the NSM (Not So Modern) section - I'm sure the denizens there will appreciate more info on this early scooter.

Also note that only moderators can reply in the For Sale/Wanted section, so I'll move this over to NSM anyway.

Good luck finding parts!

If people search google for Duerkopp's, that'll cause this thread to pop up in the search results.

Other ways people might spell Durkopp when searching or contributing - you might want to use those as well when searching for parts, especially on German (*.de) sites.

this is probably about one in a handful of bikes I'd consider replacing my S1 with.

must include picnic basket, though.

It's a cool looking bike, for sure. I'd still like to at least see a Heinkel in real life, even if I'll probably never own one.

Ok I understand know, I have tried misspelt searches & tried ebay de but only seat cover for sale no seat.
Only seat available is from earlier model scooter from 1950s single rubber seats in the UK asking price £150 + postage costs

Yeah I would love to see a Heinkel in real life (again), I was so little when my Dad got rid of his it is a vague memory but that is the very first two wheeled vehicle I rode pillion on over the streets in traffic. I could not have been more than 6 or 7 years old and would absolutely love to have one. Can't help but think that the memories will come flooding back if I get one and ride it...

Good evening all,
First time posting here. My late father was the owner of a Durkopp Diana Sport. I'm unsure of the year; but believe it to be possibly early to mid fifties. As we will be selling the family home we now need to find a new home for the Durkopp.

The bike is complete, and considering its age is in quite good condition. Obviously, it has been some years since it was run so I am unable to guarantee the mechanical side of it.

Currently I don't have any pictures available but can supply them if genuine interest arises. I am based in Essex and any potential customer will need to arrange to collect as I do not have the facility to transport it. As to price, again, this is a grey area, though I have been told that similar machines in a far worse state have sold for upto £1000. However, I am open to offers and suggestions.

I will do my best to respond promptly to any parties who may reply.

Thanks in advance.

Hi PedHeadFred,

I am looking to dispose of this as a complete unit. As I have already stated this machine is complete and not in a condition to warrant breaking.

Kind Regards,
Lee Peat

Still I've found nothing for my Scooter, it's Newark winter classics this weekend,
Bike and scooter show.
Hopefully might find something there but not holding my breath, as I did speak to a well known scooter dealer at the Stafford bike show in October.
He said text me I know somebody with bits, I emailed text WhatsApp him not even a acknowledgment.
Can not be doing with Idiots who are all talk no action, I can not get people like that I talk straight.
Yes not is all it takes🤔

This has become the norm. When people respond and offer a solution or provide a recommendation, I consider that exceptional.

I have come across these Diana's in the flesh, both for sale and at the odd scooter rally. There is one place who might be able to help you as they sell these type of oddities, such as Heinkel, Diana, Triumph, NSU, Zundapp Bella scooters from time to time.

https://www.trojancars.co.uk/used/bikes/

Although they might not have parts, they might have contacts because they clearly renovate/restore these scooters from very tatty states. Trojan Cars are in Southsea, Hampshire, UK , right on the south coast. Worth a shot and maybe if you get tired with chasing parts etc could be an outlet for selling it on or trading it in? Im not connected with trojan, i just pop in there from time to time to muse over their vintage scoots and bikes.

He'll all been quite some time since my last post but parts are still not forth coming. So I've resorted in buying a Lambretta seat chopped it extended it and reshaped front and rear. Basically refabricated it including making the locking mechanism to make it fit. I will get a cover made for it but for now stretched the Lambretta one and glued it back on.
