Modern Vespa

During the extended ride with my scooter group last week, we
met up with another very interesting group. It was nine ladies
riding Three Wheeled Honda Goldwings and BMWs. In addition
to these trikes, there were a couple two wheeled Harleys.

We were rest stopping/fueling in Durand Wisconsin. They were using the
same Shell Gas Station to meet and kick off on their extended ride.
Fascinating group - we talked for a while and admired their rides.

Love the BMW trike and more so the cup holder sticking out on the LHS.
That would be the first thing to get when I'm ready for a Vespa trike.

Damn cool ...
Those trikes must be expensive I'm guessing.
A friend I knew who lived in Angwin CA, used to build trikes. He used to use VW's and GM cars that were rear wheel drive, cut them use the transmission and rear wheels and the engine to build his trikes for his customers.
I have never ridden one of them but I am guessing they are a lot of fun.

I looked the Trike BMW up on the internet - 2022 Trike BMW $40,000.

yeah out of my league for sure..
I am saving $'s (pennies at the moment) to convert my 1998 Ford Ranger to all electric. Will cost me in materials about $20-25k.
Trikes are cool, but are they similar to the Can Am's, see a few of those out here on NYC streets all blinged out but I believe they are popular in the south more than here in NYC.
Haven't seen any trikes here in NYC or should say in Brooklyn/Manhattan I hardly go to any of the other boroughs..

In my riding group, 5 have moved from two wheels to CanAms.
I have demo rode a CanAm at the dealership. I prefer the ride feel of
two wheels. Despite this, I believe the two front wheeled CanAm is
safer than the triked out Honda Goldwings and Harleys.
