Does anyone know what version of Bluetooth this system is using? I can't get it to connect to my Bluetooth speaker and the bike through the app. I've read that to do audio sharing on my iPhone to two devices at the same time they have to be Bluetooth 5.0.

pretty sure it's 4

you can try getting you dealer to make sure the firmware in your scoot is up to date using PADS.

trivia: btw the subtype is definitely not BLE, but on the newer bv500 e5 it is BLE although euro5 vespas remain non ble

EDIT: confirmed it's 4.0 classic using a Texas Instruments chipset in the PMP2. (I monitored the connection that my pixel 4a5g established to my supertech)

It has an option for a headset in the Vespa's app but just won't recognize my Bluetooth speaker. Don't see why it wouldn't. Gonna see if I can borrow someone's AirPods to see if they connect.

Is there a way to check what firmware I currently have on my 2020 Supertech?

If you have access to an android then you can install my app which can display a number that i think is the version of the pmp2 (Bluetooth module). Not 100% sure but would be interesting to compare.

I have an iPhone. A little off topic but you seem very knowledgeable about Vespa's. Is the break in oil that comes in a new Vespa fully synthetic?

I would guess it's the same as normal recommended in the manual but i really don't know. Better to ask in a new thread.
