What a view!

Thanks for the photo. Many on this forum have experienced the
beauty of the Amalfi Coast. I think it is the most beautiful sea side
ride in the world.

I have also heard that during peek tourist season they are making the
Amalfi Coast a one way.

I had the good fortune living in your beautiful country along time ago.
1970 to 1974. Here are some of m old photos - slightly fuzzy due to
old reproduction.

Hi Bob, are really very nice your photos. The landscapes, although many years have passed, have not changed, and always give many emotions. Dear Bob, i want to clarify that that island is not Capri, but "Li Galli", famous for being owned by Rudolf Nureyev.

I always went to Capri by tourist boat from the Amalfi Coast and assumed
it was Capri.

I lived just North of Naples near Pozzuoli in Lucrino. One of our favorite motorcycle
rides involved taking the car ferry from Pozzuoli to the Island of Ischia. We
would circle the Island, have some great food and car ferry back to Pozzuoli.
I took my wife there on our honeymoon.

Again, I apologize for fuzzy quality of photos reproduced from 50 years ago.

it is the subject of the photos to give emotions, even if the quality is not excellent. And your photos give many beautiful emotions. Dear Bob, I know well the city of "Pozzuoli" and the whole district. Beautiful places, like the island of "Ischia" that you visited.

You guys just made me shed copious tears of nostalgia in reading your posts and looking at the photos!
You see, I was born and raised in my early teen years near Pozzuoli and Lucrino?arco Felice Those were my stumping grounds, and part of my school education took place in Pozzuoli, near the Roman Amphitheatre.
That (350?) Ducati Scrambler was the secret object of desire for all the would be rebel Italian teenagers back then, except for the cleaner-cut, well-dressed guys that had parents in the legal and medical professions: they usually had Vespas, and could be seen around town with their girlfriends riding side saddles. Vespas were considered to be more socially acceptable, if you will. Not much chance of getting your neatly pressed slacks dirty, and girls could still wear their stylish dresses when going on rides.
Every time I ride my PX150E around my home here in Florida, I get part of that feeling back; that is why I have had this scooter since new, for the past 35+ years.
Strangely enough, I have been in Capri, but never to Ischia.
