Modern Vespa

I didn't do any of the work, my trusted mechanic/shop did it all. They have performed the same magic on a couple of similar scooters... 300's of different vintages. My two additional lights are always on, so not on a relay with the High Beam. I recommend this setup for two reasons... it makes us more visible during the day, and more illumination for us to see at night. The light modules themselves are cheap enough that I'll gladly keep an extra set on hand to replace burned out units.

Interesting that the Zelioni has the same wattage written on it 22/24w

Strange right, after breaking apart the stock headlight (pics above) the issue is that the 3 Leds pointed straight down and were reflected off the cone which is why it had a weird pattern with
shadows and dark spots.

The headlight from SIP points out (every light should do that correct?) so even it if was the same wattage, the road coverage was so much better and clearer.

Outside the city without streetlights, I think you are best served by supplemental lighting as well, The post from bobbyoakes points that out as well.

Have been thinking about getting a light kit that has a rheostat led vs the standard "off or on" mode since different situations call for a different amount of supplemental lights.

That's a great result. I'm confused though - I can only see the Black edition at SIP as per your links, but you seem to have a regular issue version?

I actually ordered the black edition and got this one in the mail ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ no note or email about it

Was looking at these on Sip, but didn't see a chrome one. Both were black, one with just chrome accents around the lights. Would've been more interested had I known they had a full chrome one.

I have the same issue with the OEM headlight and do a heap of night riding, so this upgrade would be great. But it works out at $630 for me ($400USD) with shipping so hard to justify when I mainly ride on well-lit city streets. Might have to wait and see if it becomes available anywhere else.

I agree on the price (I'm also in Melbourne). This is why i stuck on a pair of extra lights that really help Extra highbeam lights on GTS HPE (oem headlight is crap)

Damn you Pegasus and SIP. While looking at the Zelioni light I glanced at the "customers also bought this" section and now I have to have the Zelioni tail light and indicators too!

lol nice now I want it too, currently I have installed the tail light modular mod and the switchback turn signals by scooter west, pretty happy with those honestly.

Thought about removing the rear reflectors on the side, but instead converted those to turn signals based on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPzzwt9iEtg, was a bit of a pain to wire into the switchback kit, but wow they are awesome, if you look at that video I uploaded, you can see when I turn them on at 45 seconds.

I don't really ride at night, so the few times I got stuck riding at night it was a very very uncomfortable situation for sure. I live in the South Florida boonies where there is zero streetlights, lots of potholes and lots of sand everywhere so I really didn't have a choice but to do the upgrade.

I still think I would need supplemental lighting for sure if I rode at night more, just nowhere decent to install them honestly

I have installed my Zelioni as well. Sorry for not posting/answering before, crazy busy at the job right now.

can confirm that Zelioni makes much better light coverage, evenly distributed. now, could it have been bit more light there, I think it could. If one would be having 2 off those, it would be the right measure (like on the cars). do not understand why the bike headlights can not be designed such to replace 2 off car lights, we need the same ammount of light like cars, or?
