I was out n about on my new GTS hpe the other day - the night time arrived and I started to get flashed by passing cars. I think the headlight beam is too high as, on dipped beam, the road signs in the distance were lit.

Does anyone have any pics of the adjuster screw? It's not obvious.

This is my new steed

There should be a screw below the headlight

It's the new LED light.

There isn't the screw as pictured in the manual on the new headset.

There is a cut out south west of the light. Inside (when a torch is shined in) there doesn't appear to be a screw adjuster.

I'm afraid I can't see an adjustment screw.

There is a hole in the headset. Up inside there is no screw.

I'm at a loss!

Anyone with a hpe led light can you help?

Have you checked your headlight against a wall? Always best to check first before changing any settings. Maybe no adjustment is necessary.

Did you ever locate the adjustment screw? I was just trying tonight and could not find it with the screwdriver and flashlight.

You have to take apart the handlebar cover with headlight attached and adjust the screw from the back of the headlight. And it does not say which way to turn the screws, it was pretty much trial and error and painful because every time you have to make small adjustments and reinstall the whole thing back together. I am extremely disappointed with vespa, I feel like they rushed to get the scoot off the assembly line. My cheapo bicycle lights are more bright at night.

Agreed. I'm totally unimpressed with LED headlamps. While the beam cutoff is usually excellent the lamps seem to have no reach. My old quartz lamps seemed to reach much farther ahead with more intensity.

I recently retired after ten years working in the engineering of automotive lighting systems, mostly on LED units. They have a long way to go before I'd want them on my vehicle, but everybody seems to want to rush them to market.
