The GTS300 has an ABS/ASR sensor on the back wheel that controls wheel slip through the engine if it senses a difference front to rear. That's why you shouldn't rev the engine on the centre stand, and also it needs to be recalibrated when new tyres are fitted. Scooterwest.com has a You Tube video that covers it.

Yes, the mechanic said so, but I'm not sure about what he said, so I asked in this forum to get more info about this. The mechanic said that even when the scooter is turned off the abs sensor is still counting and adding some milage around 3000km.. so this make the engine cut off…
