The LED lamp is mounted in the body, the helmet box has a small window with clipped acrylic glass. When I took out the helmet box for the first time, the acrylic glass fell out right away.

Nice is only the carpet in the helmet compartment of the SuperTech, even if this costs some height. This should be orderable as an accessory, price I do not know yet

My 2019 Supertech has carpet in the helmet compartment. Note: mine is an Asia/Pacific version not a European

The carpet seems cool and luxurious, but I thought more about it and wondered if it's really actually a good thing. What if you get the compartment wet with a rained on helmet, or go to the beach and put your sandy items in there, or have take out food that spills - wouldn't it be hard to keep clean and dry?

True, but still, with liquid or sand and carpet - not so easy to clean. But to those who don't mind - seems like it would be a nice touch!

The carpet in mine is removable. I've had to air it out once for a gas spill. Not a big deal.

Ahhh…I see. I thought just the compartment was removable. I've seen that done. But I didn't realize you can actually pull out the carpet. I assumed it was adhered to the bottom of the helmet compartment. Nice!

The HPE series gave us a much improved motor, and now this model has big improvements in suspension, braking and saddle comfort. I think this will be Piaggio's swansong for petrol driven Vespas as all further development will be in electrics, so I see myself buying one in the near future. Just hope one comes in the right colour for me.

Same. A new Electric GTS in a few years could be sold at the same time as the GTS2023 unchanged as an overlap for a couple of years

The brand is Segura from France. It looks like it might be the District jacket?

Edit: Or perhaps the women's version, the Vanda:

Most of the coverage on the New GTS lineup has been tough for me to read and/or watch. Leave it to Andy Greaser, via RevZilla`s Common Tread, to offer a more-coherent overview:

I popped into Scuderia West in SF today to try to sit on a 2023. The salesman didn't expect to see one on the floor until at least Xmas.

tl;dr of that RevZilla article: the seat is a little narrower in the front (and potentially less comfortable). The shock upgrade is awesome.

I wonder if I'll be able to install 2023 shocks on a 2020 edition.

Just as with the ESS front-suspension linkage on my previous GTS Super (Melody), the new system likely has little-to-nothing to do with the front shock (which I'm betting isn't any better than what came on my SuperTech). I'm also betting that, just as with Melody, the bigger improvement will come when the stock springer gets replaced with an aftermarket version.

Dang I would have liked a GTV but am soooo not stoked on this colour pattern...but appreciate that I'm an old dog who likes classic things like chrome...I really wish they would release this model in an original (olden dayz) colour.

But I love that you shared this link!!!

Is whoever designed the 2023s colorblind?

That orange windshield/fairing on the GTV does not photograph well. The Primavera Color Vibe is the only multicolor ride this year that doesn't immediately repulse me. The GTS Supersport, the GTV, and the 946 10th Anni all look hideous at first glance.

That Piaggio One Active only goes 38MPH. That's barely useful in the city, and definitely not something you'd want to ride outside it. Considering plates, insurance, and exposure to cars, you're probably better off getting an electric bike.

I'm hating this humbug.

Judging from their sales numbers, Piaggio clearly understands what their customers want. US tastes regarding color schemes and speed wants are likely not a big factor for them, as the bulk of sales is being made elsewhere.

So right on the EV bikes, it's even gotten me thinking about holding off on buying anymore gas scooters.

The EV bikes that go 60mph look just like the ones that go sub 30mph and can be ridden on trails, paths, sidewalks and other places where plated scooters and motorcycles can not.

The amount of EV bikes being sold in California right now are staggering, increased innovation and economy of scale should produce some compelling rides in the near future.

What's with all that gaudy stickering this year?

Did designers have "bring your child to work" day and let them loose with colorful vinyl adhesives?

Hope this was just a phase and won't happen again.

Correct. In German Forum are real photos of the front suspension from EICMA. The vehicle on EICMA does not have the new updated front suspension. It is the suspension (and obviously the brakes) from Pre-Facelift. There is no official Statement from Piaggio/Vespa so far.

Correct. In German Forum are real photos of the front suspension from EICMA. The vehicle on EICMA does not have the new updated front suspension. It is the suspension (and obviously the brakes) from Pre-Facelift. There is no official Statement from Piaggio/Vespa so far.
Well dang, I'd have bought the new GTV if it had the new suspension and a replacement for the orange bird beak. My second choice was the blue Supertech they pulled from the US site. Wonder if it will come back since I probably won't order one until the end of the month.

Whatever I get if it has the chrome switch covers they will be history quickly dropped, wrapped or painted I'm not sure which but OMG those are tacky on the models with black trim.

What's with all that gaudy stickering this year?

Did designers have "bring your child to work" day and let them loose with colorful vinyl adhesives?

Hope this was just a phase and won't happen again.

As long as none are clear coated over should be an easy removal, I'd de-emblem a new one as well

If they did I'd be tempted to replace the orange stripes with black reflective over the existing ones especially on the orange SS.

The cartoon 946 just gives me the Henie-Jeebies.

Factory heated grips and seat? Well looks like my purchase of a 2023 just got more expensive, especially since I can't move my existing windshield over. Oh well it's only money.

The Vespa MIA control unit needed for heated grips and/or heated seat is standard on SuperSport and SuperTech. Classic and Super can be upgraded, but then you are at least in the region of the SuperSport in terms of price. In addition, then in each case the heated grips / seat / another control unit as well as cables and possibly assembly.

I'm looking at either the orange or white SuperSport. If they hadn't pulled the metallic blue SuperTech from the US site I'd have probably ordered that one over the other two colors. Usually I'd go for the green but not that green.

I am really trying to figure out why they offered the beige in the base model and the matte blue on the Supertech here in Canada but it's not available in the USA.

Why would that be?

I also find it strange that they only have the Justin Bieber helmet for sale on the website too.
