I have a 2022 GTS 300 now and its a great bike for my little town in the Colorado foothills.

I have had many Vespa products including three Mp3's.

All have been Ok with minor issues, the mp3 have all needed dealer service for small problems. I have never been left stranded any of my 20 plus bikes over the years except both my BMW's had major breakdowns and towing. keep in mind those 20 plus bikes ran up 200K miles here in the usa, canada, mexico. Most miles were on Honda touring bikes, 100% reliable by the way.

Now thinking about ordering a Mp3 530 but have many concerns about all tech stuff on this bike. Also small dealer network in the USA, Vespa parts support etc.

Any comments on the new Hitech Vespa world these days and how Vespa is dealing with their new tech world they wish to market.

Also I will trade or sale the 2022 GTS to do the Mp3. I do not want to deal with multiple bike in my garage any more.

Can I use my joker card until September 2023, only time, amount of scoots sold and usage will give us an idea, the engine should be rock solid, the new gadgets and wizardry who knows.

The Italians may have invented electricity, but they mastered the art of electrical malfunctions followed closely by the Brits.

Now that they're throwing a bunch of electronic "junk" on top of it, your guess is as good as mine. Why a bike needs a backup camera is beyond me.

If you're looking for Honda reliability, then these (Piaggio group products) are not the bikes you're looking for. Japan makes the best bikes in the world, bar none. I call Honda "God tier", surrounded by the ring of angels (Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki)

My MP3 has been "OK" (just OK) for the most part except shoddy build quality, BUT it requires a constant hawk eye and ear and I cut the service intervals in half from what is prescribed in the manual especially all the fluids.

While the Japanese bikes can take a lot of abuse & neglect, the Euro bikes and especially the Italians are anything but bombproof. I wouldn't touch a Ducati with a 10 foot pole

I wouldn't gripe about the lousy build quality if this was a 5-6K bike made in India. But for a "premium" bike from a "premium" brand made in Europe, this one doesn't pass the test especially at these stuuuuupid new prices for the 530.
