Modern Vespa

Hi all

So my new (used) piaggio mp3 500 tourer 2012 is running lovely but noticed now the weather's turned I need to protect myself better from the elements.

I've been looking at used and new leg covers on all shopping platforms but I'm at a loss with which one would be most suitable.

The one I nearly went for had icons on the outer cover for for several buttons just under the handle bars but mine pre dates that model with only only one button for heated grips... So can't be for my model.

Anyone have any suggestions
As I can't find a match on the manufacturers website to cover it! Cheers.

What specifications are you looking for? Such as heated, generic brand, water-resistant, etc?

The weather in my part of the world is milder (just rain and cold) so I just put on water-proof over pants and raincoat when I go riding. I also invested in heated gloves that are universal fit and connected those to the battery but there are more heated gear options out there.

Just make sure you know how many watts the heated gear needs vs surplus amps the bike is producing so you don't run down the battery or bike while out riding.

Purchased the one I originally saw and its ace.. Warm legs ( i wear shorts 365) or no more wet through socks and boots.

What brand and model hand guards are those? Do they have enough clearance for the brake leavers to be comfortably accessed?

Keep looking for a good set of hand guards and followed a few leads from the forum, but I never seem to be able to find a good set. The ones in the picture look right.

Also; that leg cover does indeed look comfy, I may get one for myself.
