Upgrade issue when moving between 500 single to dual spark

how do I need to handle the coil issue?

Changing the single coil with a dual one
or
Adding an additional 400 coil parallel to the existing one?

In my opinion, the best beat is use a dual coil, as with 2 single coils you can run in small time differences (ms) in the voltage to the sparks that are not good for the complete combustion (the idea of a dual spark). With a dual one you are sure that both spark fire exactly at same time.
