I am an organ donor on my driver's license but I can only donate to HIV positive patients. Same with blood. I am also donating my body to science.

Its not paranoid if I would pull the plug on a donor if it was me the doctor's place.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not after you. My loved one and only my loved ones can have my organs, even now I'd give a lung for my kid or wife.
Also don't donate blood, it's mine same as my organs.

I don't trust many doctors, unfortunately my doctor of many years, one I did trust and really liked was shot dead earlier this year by a communist sympathizer while he took his elderly mother to church. Dr, John Cheng, guy was a hero, even before he sacrificed himself to save many others.

Can we specify we only want organs from Vespa riders?

I mean heck, if I ended up with a kidney from a BMW rider I understand I'd need to pay 5$ every time I went to the bathroom. And a harley cornea would't work on rainy days.

In the US most doctors are quick to give you a prescription after a 2 minute consultation and send you on your way.
In the past, I've had two "specialists" subscribe surgery, one for a shoulder injury and one for a foot injury, in both cases it took less time to heal naturally than the estimated surgery recovery time.

Dr Cheng was different, a rarity in the states, being an active, very fit general practitioner with a sports medicine background he would first suggest physical therapy and or lifestyle changes for his patients before prescribing drugs.

So many our age have multiple life long prescription regimens and accept them as a normal part of life, if you lived here you may very well have similar 'paranoia' issues

The owner told me that the US gets an excess of bodies for science and he buys the excess and ships them around the world for whatever anybody wants to do with them. Anything. I read the article and was puzzled by the data used and the conclusions drawn.

It refers to motor vehicle accidents but does not say how many of those accidents involved motorcycles. Or how many of them were on land, for that matter.

Furthermore, the number of motor vehicles being operated when the weather is nice includes a LOT of vehicles operated by folks who have little or no experience with those vehicles. For example, RV rentals - Many of the renters have experience with driving a car and are not accustomed to the width, length or breaking distances of an RV.

Fwiw, I'm in favor of organ donation. Whatever is useful, recyclable, can advance science or learning is ok with me. I won't be needing it anymore.
