#4 Don't is interesting as well. I wonder what constitutes the correct RPM given a situation. I keep the revs up high when going heavy on the throttle, but while cruising or riding at lower throttle condition, I keep it in a higher gear. I figure high RPM + low throttle = less lubrication.

And that's why I spent so damn long designing a gearbox for Speedy... Once going, you are ALWAYS on the pipe. I even had to adapt my riding style & gear-change practices to make it work correctly.
