Per recommendation from here, I ordered a Shoei J-Cruise II helmet and I know it won't fit under the seat of our Vespa GTS models.

In my previous collection, I had the Vespa top cases installed on all of the GTS's but I am really liking the look and ease of moving the new GTS's around in the garage without the top case, so I would rather not go that route.

Is there a solution for latching the helmet in using one of the teeth at the front mount (under where the seat folds forward) by way of an accessory? I can't seem to find one.

My current Vespa helmet fits under the seat but won't latch to the hook at the front of the under-seat storage AND allow the seat to close for whatever reason. "D" clip doesn't seem long enough and it will be the same issue on the Shoei helmet.

Just looking for a way to keep the helmet safely attached to the Vespa GTS while not having to buy top cases for them, if anyone has a good solution, I am all ears!

My Fazer came with a helmet cable (most Japanese bikes do) which I also use on my Vespas…

It's like this one…

For helmets with no D-ring you can just trap a buckle underneath the seat, even 2 helmets but you got to remember they are there when you pop the seat open or they fall.

Sometimes I use a lightweight lock and cable, just enough to keep honest people honest.

Also, my full face helmet fits under my Sprint 150 seat with the euro bucket

The Sprint Euro bucket. If that bike went just 10mph faster it would be my favorite Vespa

I use a T shaped metal item, I don't remember from where. Revzilla sells these: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bully-locks-helmet-lock-extender
