I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid for near-sightedness and now I have progressive lenses to allow me to read up close without looking under my glasses. The progressives are fine but they are just too distorty and strange around the edges to wear while riding so I wear regular prescription glasses (and sunglasses) under my visor. This is fine unless I want to actually see anything detailed on the display or glance at a map or phone without pulling over and dealing with it. If you need reading glasses you know what I mean. After a recent long-distance motorcycle journey marred by these annoying stops, I found these things on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099JM9F2M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

StickTite Stick-On Bifocal Lenses are what they are, in case that link doesn't work. It seems they are popular with divers who have the same problem. They just stick on with water and mine have been on for over a month now. You wouldn't want to read a book with them and you won't be reading the rules on the back of a lottery ticket, but if I just want to check the time on the display on my Guzzi, which has some pretty small digits going on, they work great. Just a little boost when you need it.

I had no idea these existed, and it looks like a great idea for those of us who are too vain to admit we need bifocals.
I did a quick Amazon search for Stick-on bifocal, and found out you can get them in different strengths.

There are also a lot of magnifiers for welding helmets like the one cdwise pointed out directly above, and I wonder if you could cut one in half and have a strip of this stuff running along the bottom of your visor. No time like the present to find out.
This is where the Hobart one comes from, according to Amazon- Country Of Origin: Taiwan, Province Of China

Upon further examination, the one for welding helmets slides into some grooves on the welding helmet, and doesn't stick to the glass.

The welding deal is certainly worth checking out if there's one that just sticks on. When I was riding along inventing this stuff, I originally envisioned a strip like that...

The different powers are a cool thing, it's a little hard to figure out though because the distance from your eye is different than when wearing glasses. I tried to figure it out by (kind of) measuring the distance from my eye to where I thought I would be looking out of the helmet and then going to the kiosk at the drugstore that has all the reading glasses and holding different powers up at what I (sort of) figured was the right distance and somehow I came up with 1.25, and somehow it works for me.
