- Underseat lock
- Shorter mirrors in the same style (to help squeezing through stationary traffic, plus I prefer the view through them)
- 70s style rear rack
- Vespa Sports seat, with red piping to match the other red elements
- Chrome underseat metal hook (not visible in these pics)

Only problem is now it's dropped below freezing for a few days, and I'm wary of riding home with the ice - so for now it's stuck at work!

Nice mods. Protect your chrome with light oil or some grease, you'll be surprised how quickly it will start to rust.

Try some multipurpose or waterproof silicone grease.

Nicely done Jake , what mirrors are they ? And does the sports seat lower your riding position ?

Why not car wax? Less messy if you bump into it.

They're the SIP shorty mirrors. I had them on my Elettrica and loved them. If anything, I prefer the Primavera style as they tuck in even further due to the round mirror itself being narrower.

They keep the same style, but they're roughly in line with the handlebars which makes it easier squeezing through traffic, as I've got a fixed visual point for how wide the Vespa is.

I hadn't considered the seat might be lower... it's definitely a different feel as you have a bit of support behind your lower back, which makes you feel a bit more attached!

I'll have a look through the garage and see what I have. As the Vespa is matte black, I've got to be careful that products don't touch the paintwork - so ideally I need to apply something using a cloth.

Thanks Max, will have a look at that!

Ice has now turned to snow and my Vespa is still stuck at work!
